I have read that Sako's can be picky about the ammo you shoot and that I should consider shooting the Sako Brand Ammo. I own and love the Tikka T3/T3X series. However, after seeing numerous threads and videos, it has me wondering if the Ruger American/Predator series is the poor man’s version of the Tikka T3. The Rugers are a lot less expensive but have a very large following.

I'm a big fan of the Model 77, but I have somewhere less than zero interest in the Scout version.
